This build allows you to produce Hydralisks by 5:30, effectively countering fast Reavers or a 7 Hatch Hydra build.

• 9 – Build a Hatchery

• 9 – Build an Overlord

• 9 – Build a Spawning Pool

• 11 – Build a Hatchery

• 14 – Build another Hatchery

• Produce a total of about 4 Sunken Colonies for early defense.

• At 3:00, build 2 Gas Geysers.

• Upon reaching 100 Gas, construct 2 Hydralisk Dens.

• Drone up until reaching 28/28 Supply.

• Build 3 Overlords to maintain supply.

• When the first Hydralisk Den is complete, research Hydralisk Range and Speed upgrades.

• At 5:30, take a 3rd Gas.
